LETTERS

Dear Love or Karma Guru,

My story is similar to the one you have written on your website. Only I did not tell my wife I wanted to not be married, I told her I wanted us to go to counseling and I was not seeing anyone else...

Tips from the LOVE OR KARMA Guru
A great secret to keeping love alive in our fast-paced world, is about making time for each other. During dating, the dance of pursuit keeps the game exciting; but once we settle into a routine, it takes extra effort to keep the passion alive. Here are some tips from the Love or Karma Guru:

  • Loving and respecting ourselves, is the primary key to connecting at a deep level with another
  • Rekindle passion by making time for each other; know you are each special!
  • Prepare a meal together, and sit down and eat in a cozy atmosphere
  • Learn to close your door, and let kids know when it’s mom and dad’s time – protect your need for privacy.
  • Wake up a little earlier, have sex in the morning when you’re well rested.
  • Find ways to ‘play’ together, doing things you mutually enjoy.
  • Have a ‘date night’ one night a week. Defend it with your life!
  • Keep photos around of romantic memories
  • Create ‘traditions’ that are meaningful to you both.
  • Do those little things for each other, you did when you were dating!

Remember: making time for each other is a choice not a rule!
