Tell us about you. Post your thoughts, add photos. Add available features to enhance what you can do through your profile. Check to see if default privacy settings meet with your approval or change them. (good to write content on a separate document, save a copy, check spelling and word or character count, then paste into forms).

Be sure to invite your friends...
Connect with friends who have already joined the Village Community and send out invites to get the rest of your friends here; we don't want them to miss out!!!

The community itself is our foundation. Once you have joined and made your profile, you'll be able to participate in "building the Village," by sharing your knowledge, wisdom and skills; (come on now, everyone is good at something)! Together we are creating a body of knowledge and support to help all of us move towards a healthy, abundant, viable Earth-friendly future.  For we are the future and the future is now. 

You'll find here ideas, articles and products that promote green living, and we also want to hear from you!  We encourage  you to browse the site, create and participate in Groups, assist others in the Forum, write and submit Articles. Submit your Bio and become a Virtual Earth Village Contributor today - it's easy.

Future developments include an eco-friendly Wiki, Virtual Earth Village Bazaar, Directory, and publishing of ebooks and video courses.

1. Topics - You'll find topics in our Index, Group and Article Categories that will shape our direction. Feel free to suggest additional topics you feel add value to our intentions at the Suggestion Box in the Forum.

2. Articles - Be a Contributor! - You (yes you) can write for us at Virtual Earth Village (we know you know something good). Find links on the left side of your profile to submit your Bio and Share your Knowledge. Follow the instructions. Once your first article has been approved, you'll be able to submit as many as you like, participate in contests, and be proud to say you're a Virtual Earth Village Contributor!

3. Common Grounds Groups - Become a regular group participant. This is the place we'll discuss and solve problems together (ie: My last batch of bio-diesel is cloudy, what's up?), and dream up new ideas, for many minds are better than one. You'll find groups to be very dynamic places, where you'll meet up with many new folks of common interest, expanding your horizons.

4. Wiki (coming soon) is a living online encyclopedia, where anyone can add content even to update someone else's entries, so it becomes a collaborative community effort.  "Wiki-wiki" is Hawaiian for "Hurry." It has evolved into the acronym "What I Know Is". You may be a  VEV Wiki contributor (following our guidelines) soon.

5. Advertise Your Earth Friendly Business - You'll notice some rotating Ads around the Village. As our community grows you might like to let others know about what you do. We have a very simple method for you to get the word out into our community with Virtual Earth Village Ads.

6. Bazaar Explore the Bazaar for goods and services to enhance your life. (under development)

7. Groups - Find the "groups" link at your profile. Start a Group on a subject you're passionate about. Others will find you when they search for your topic and be able to join in based on your settings.

8. Publish Your Ebook - Submit your ebook to us in pdf format and we will epublish and sell it for you.
